GARAGE STARTUP, STANFORD STROLL

Today I met Professor Don Wood at Stanford University. His class was about how to negotiate a financing round with venture capital investors, so one of the four start up’s that exist in the “garage startup”, was presenting their project to the classroom. There were two venture capital investors present who were interested in investing in their project. It was really interesting to see how these two different VCs approach in convincing the startup to choose between one of them. It was interesting especially because in the middle of the class, after the VCs presented their investment proposals, they went out side of the classroom and the other students from other startups, gave their opinion and advices to the startup. When the VC’s came back, the startup was able to ask questions which were the result of collaboration of the entire classroom.

After that I meet Sherman Hall, who showed me around the Stanford campus and took me to the amazing library and for a lovely lunch. Mr. Hall also offered me a Stanford sweater, which was really kind of him.

It was a really good way to end up this amazing schedule!
